Organizational Policies

Policy/ Governance Boards have 3 primary roles:
- to establish (board-level) policies
- to make significant and strategic decisions
- to oversee the organization's activity
Organizational policies (non-operational)
- highest-level policy statement from which all other policies, standards, guidelines, or procedures draw their legitimacy
- reflect the Board of Director's requirements for organizational behaviour
2 Types:
- Policy statements found in current Constitution and By-Law
- New policies to fill gaps/ provide direction for organizational behaviour

- Religious Services
- Egalitarianism
- Financial Year
- Good Standing
- Privileges of Membership
New Policies:
- Transparency and Accountability to Members
- Member Inquiries, Feedback and Complaints
- Member Code of Conduct
