This program is divided into two parts:

PART 1:

Watch FIVE pre-recorded videos to help you get started.
Once you register for the program, the Jewish Genealogical Society of Toronto will send you an e-mail with links to these videos. You can watch them at any time and at your convenience. We recommend watching them in January or February so that you will be better prepared for Part 2 of this course.

PART 2:

This Spring, (April 26-May 17, Wednesdays at 10:30am) Beth Tikvah Synagogue will be hosting FIVE in-person workshops led by members of the Jewish Genealogical Society of Toronto. In these workshops, you will be going through the process of family history research and learning about setting up a family tree. (The dates & times of the program will be announced in January)

***You must bring a laptop or tablet device to be able to do this research. A smartphone is not sufficient and we recommend using a laptop for the best experience (as it is the easiest to use for this purpose).
