Doris Alter

Beth Tikvah Synagogue’s Executive Director, is responsible for all aspects of the Synagogue Administration. Doris’ career began over 30 years ago in the Jewish non-profit sector. Born and raised in Montreal and moved to Toronto in 1997. Amongst the various volunteer positions Doris has held, today she is President of STAT (Synagogue Temple Administrators of Toronto). Doris oversees the fiscal management of Beth Tikvah and is responsible for membership, recruitment and retention, fundraising, catering, major events and building maintenance. Doris interfaces with outside organizations on administrative affairs and daily operations.
