The crisis is unprecedented in the country's 75 years of existence and, in the eyes of many, imperil its future as a liberal democracy with a thriving tech innovation-based economy. Netanyhau government dismisses the protests as leftist elitists scrambling to preserve their privilege. The reality is much more complex.
